Frozen and dusted with snow, Klarningen is going to be quiet for a while. To the sea...No time for birding today. But did get five minutes at both Klarningen and Hasslarps dammar during a busy day with the kids. Klarningen was completely frozen over - winter is definitely here now! Only birds of note were two rough-legged buzzards and the usual ringtail hen harrier.
Hasslarps dammar was deathly, still some open water here in the deep pits but no wildfowl to speak of. Only birds noted were a brace of goldfinch and a calling dunnock.
